Purple Coneflower, is a native perennial that brings color and wildlife value to gardens and cut flower arrangements. Native to the eastern and central United States, this hardy plant produces large, daisy-like purple-pink blooms with spiny centers atop sturdy stems with coarse green foliage. The flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators while the seed heads provide winter interest for birds. Drought-tolerant once established and easy to grow in well-draining soil, it makes an excellent choice for borders, meadows, or prairie-style plantings.
