Salvia officinalis
You will receive one plant similar to the one in the photo, in a quart-sized nursery container.
A fragrant perennial herb that adds both culinary and ornamental value to the garden. It forms a bushy mound of soft, silvery-green leaves, and the spikes of lavender-blue flowers in late spring to early summer are just gorgeous! This plant thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It is drought tolerant once established, so make sure to plant in well=drained soil. I am personally growing this to use as a bouquet flower filler.
Size: 18-24″ tall and wide
Light: Full sun
Hardiness: zones 4-8
