Mentha × piperita f. citrata ‘Chocolate’

You will receive 1 plant in a small 2″ wide x 2.75″ container similar to what is shown in the pictures.  You can cut back some of the longer stems to encourage more growth from the soil once potted up.  Mint is vigorous, so once you have potted this up, it will go crazy!

Chocolate mint is a fragrant perennial herb with dark green leaves and stems that release a chocolate-mint aroma when crushed, making it ideal for teas, desserts, garnishes, and fresh use. This variety offers a sweeter, less pungent flavor than standard peppermint while attracting pollinators with its small lavender flowers in summer. Like most mints, it spreads vigorously via underground runners, so it is best grown in containers to prevent it from overtaking garden beds. Plant in moist, well-draining, rich soil and provide regular watering to maintain lush growth; harvest leaves frequently to encourage bushiness and prevent flowering.
